* In the native Japanese manga she is marked as Shiva's first wife, but in translations she is marked as his second. Reason being that according to Hindu Lore, Parvati's previous past life was Sati, who was Shiva's first wife or lover. However, she immolated herself due to her father Daksha's disapproval of their marriage. Shiva would then wait for Sati to reincarnate as Parvati, who would officially became his second wife.
