Souichi Terada is a Japanese electronic music composer, best known for his work in the Ape Escape video game series. In 1990, he and Shinichiro Yokota formed the label Far East Recording, releasing various albums and singles. As Omodaka, he produces songs that mix traditional Japanese music with chiptune. During Omodaka's live performances, he dresses like a Miko while wearing a white mask, and makes use of electronic devices such as monitors, portable videogame consoles and a Korg Kaossilator.
